Updated Commission Information

A few people have asked about commissions. Please visit my commission page for latest info:

The short answer is “yes” I take commissions, the long answer is “on a very limited basis.”


I take commissions on a very limited basis depending on my time and inspiration. To request a commission, send an email to ladysighthound@yahoo.com. If I find your idea/character is something I'd like to take on I'll let you know and give you a better idea of cost.

Price-wise, a simple full body pose with minimal background runs around $100. The price goes up from there with additional characters, complicated poses, and complex backgrounds

Right now, only digital commissions are available and you will receive a high resolution file suitable for printing. I will not send you a print. I work large though so you could print it out poster size if you like and if you have a particular aspect ratio in mind I can accommodate that. I will draw animals, anthropomorphics, dragons, unicorns and other fantasy creatures. I will not draw humans. I will not draw cars, anime, mech, complicated architectural structures or anything mature. Please have a look at my gallery for themes and subjects I do as well as the style in which I work. If you have something you'd like to request, please feel free to email me and ask, I'd be happy to let you know if it's something I'd like to do and to give you a price quote. I also reserve the right to refuse all commissions if they don't appeal to me or I don't think I could maintain a high standard.

If requested, I will submit a rough, quick sketch of the pose for approval first before moving on with the final piece. Please be aware though you have to request this ahead of time and it will slow the commission turn around time down considerably, as I'll have to wait for another day to work on art again after I get your response, and a day like this can sometimes take weeks to come around again. So only request this if you're willing to wait.

I will do one SMALL revision of the final image if requested free of charge. Small = a change in colors or something along those lines that is easy to change in photoshop. Larger revisions that require redrawing or repainting will incur additional cost.

I will send you a low resolution version of the file to show I have completed it, and will send the high resolution version once I receive the full payment. Paypal is the ONLY payment method I accept at this time.

Anybody who thinks they might want to complain about prices or restrictions on subject matter, please don’t. Please realize that I don’t have to accept commissions, I have far more lucrative methods of earning money and I do art for enjoyment. If I think I might enjoy doing your commission, then I’ll take it on. If not, I won’t.
