Gives You Hell-The All American Rejects
mmmfff...

well, classes resume for me tomorrow ;.;

i'm excited for it, but then again, not so much because I didn't get all the stuff that I wanted to get done done...like the art trades.

I'll still get to them, I promise, but it will be a little longer then planned. my work has actually been giving me days off as of a few weeks ago, like one day a week...which has been really nice considering they weren't giving me any days off last semester. So, hopefully I can work on some art after school on my days off. Last semester sucked because I didn't really get to draw anythinggg, it was just school, work, school, work, school, work, every day.

I'm looking for a new job anyways, since I'm not getting much flexiblility at my current workplace. I think I've got another job, I've already had an interview with the owner and she said she was interested in hiring me, and I'm supposed to be getting a call from her on Wednesday. It's a beauty supply store that's really big in the professional world in our area...like all the big companies buy from there and everything...and they have this fantastic reputation I'm told...so I always have to look my best and look good. Which I don't mind, because I look good on most days xD.

So anyways, guys...on Saturday night, I went to a tattoo parlor with my cousin and these three other guys. My cousin wanted me to come with her to her cartiledge pierced, and while we were there I ended up getting an inndustrial piercing. It's something I've been wanting forever...but I've always pussed out because everyones' always saying that it's one of the most painfull piercings that you can get, and the needle to do it is...huge.

But I just bucked up and did it.

It actually wasn't that bad, I didn't curse and I didn't cry...so that means that it wasn't excruciating pain. I did, however, complain while he was doing it...but that's not a shocker seeing as I tend to complain about a lot of things. The only thing is that when I clean it out and pull the gauges through it flares up and gets hot and sore.

Right now, I don't have the bar in, it's just two gauging rings, I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks before I can go back in and have the bar put in. The guy said he does it that way because if one piercing gets infected and the two piercings are sharing the same piece of jewelry then the infection can spread to the other piercing. Which makes sense...I hadn't thought about that.

But anyways, I felt pretty bad ass after that.

Then we all went bowling until 2 in the morning.

And todayyy...on my way home from work...I picked up a dog.

He was running down the highway...and he would have gotten killed since it was almost dark. So I pulled over, and then these other people pulled over, and we all chased this dog through parking lots for like 20 minutes, until I guess he finally gave in and just laid down and let me pick him up.

He's a purebred Dachsund, he's black and tan with some merle dabble on him. He's like...a perfect looking Dachsund, so I would think that someone is probably missing him, but he had no tags or collar or anything...I even ran him to a vets office to have him scanned for a microchip...but nothing. So I guess I'll just be keeping my eyes out for signs or whatever, and if I can't find any I'll turn him over to the rescue group I work with and try to get him adopted...or one of my mom's co-workers might take him because she wants a small dog and this guy is small and is super mellow and behaved...so he would be a good dog.

I'll probably take him to work with me tomorrow and have the vets look him over to make sure there aren't any major issues. The only issue that I can see is that he needs to be nuetered...I can't stand it when people don't nueter their male dogs, it's just gross...and the dogs are better off without those things hanging between their legs anyways.

Anyways, I'm off to go get all of my stuff ready for school...and then proobably heading off to be early since I have to be up early in the morning.

Omg, a dachshund? I used to have a short haired brownie, and while he was bad-ass he could never survive outside on his own. I love those dogs, he must have gotten away from some home that was apparently too lax on licensing. They love to dig, I wouldn't be surprised if he squeezed his way under the fence somehow and took off for a joyride.

As for school, mine start again tomorrow too We should get the day off for the inauguration, but that's not gonna happen. Might as well get this semester over with.

lol don't worry we are all in the same boat I start school tomorrow as well ...I wish my job would actually give me more hours, they've been cutting back on hours because the economy isn't doing so well, but still; I know how hard it is to jumble school and work, It leaves you with no social life haha. Well hopefully it leaves you some more time for your arts (good luck on landing that other job too ^^)

I'm at school tomorrow as well. I'm not looking forward to it.
And that daschund sounds adorable! But I know what you mean, un-neutered male dogs is not nice. *Has had bad experiences*

Hideto Love Says:

industrial = want.

But, the boything doesn't really like piercings. I used to have gauges and stuff but, got rid of them cause we both sort of came to the consensus that it was best to get rid of them.

Plus, I have a higher pain tolerance on my right ear and THAT one is already full with two gaged cartilage piercings so, I don't think I should try and stick ANOTHER in there.

For some reason my left ear always gets infected.

You seem to have a full scheduled life, Bangle. I'm looking for a job myself, but it seems like the local grocery stores are looking for a 24 year old graduate with a bachelor's degree to work at bagging groceries. *sigh* Yeah, really stupid that I can't get hired for nothing.
Piercings you say? Industrial? I'm out in the dark on this, but I've never been one for peircings, mainly cause I'm a guy. Although I will get a few tattoos, because I don't care about needles. Tattoos is art forever. I'm thinking about getting a full back art. Something about my Native american heritage and wolves.
Perfect breed of Doxon? (Can't spell) That's practically rare. Short or long coat?

SacredCandybarII Says:

Hmmm, will you be taking pictures of your piercing when it's all healed and everything? I'd like to see it.

Lark Pash Says:

I see more and more dappled dachsunds these days at work. I love the long-haired dapples. We have a client with one named Snapple. LOL.
