All righty, guys...I've decided I want to do the full costume I have in mind badly enough that I'm opening up a limited-time, limited-slots commission deal! All requests must be in no later than March 7th--after that, I will close again.

Before I get into pricing, I'd like to make sure I put your expectations in the correct place, and lay down some ground rules.

The first and most important thing to understand is this...I am not the most talented, versatile, or quickest artist by any stretch of the imagination. What you see in my gallery is reflective of my skill level. PLEASE make sure you understand what my style and skill level are really like (not what you would like it to be) beforehand. My work is not perfect, so please know what you're paying for! What I've done for sketch catches should give you a fairly good idea of what I'm willing to do for commission.

My main area of expertise has to do with drawing human(oid)s, so that's what I'll be offering.

Have you ever wanted to see a cartoon-style character you have in a more realistic style? Ever wondered what they might look like if you met them on the street? That's somewhere I can help out a bit with.

Have you ever wondered what you might look like as a race you saw on Star Trek, Star Wars, or another sci-fi/fantasy show?

Do you have a photo of yourself or your family you'd like to see hand-drawn?

Those are some things I believe I could do well with. I will want to talk over your request to make sure it's within my skills first, but that should give you a good idea.


Pricing

Headshot/bust: $10 (Examples: 1, 2 )
Full body: $15 (Example: 1) please note this sort of elaborate costume constitutes a high-detail piece and would cost $18. With full-body pieces, unless I have a photo or other exact pose reference, I will choose a pose I am able to draw confidently--I don't want to give you a mess for your money!)

For high detail or photo reference copy, add +$3. (Examples: 1, )

For full shading and blending treatment, add +$5. This means instead of mechanical pencils, I'll use the full set of pencils I have on your drawing to add extra depth, as well as spend time with blending stumps to give you a somewhat smoother look. (To see what the effect of extra shading and blending is, check here. However, this drawing is larger what I would do for a commissioned piece.)

For up to 2 additional characters, add +$5 per character.

There's a reason for the character limit. As much as I would like to say I could do something as elaborate as "The Thirteenth Order" for you, I cannot promise I would be able to do so in a timely manner. Therefore I will not be going more elaborate than the examples shown, even for an extra charge, out of respect for other people in line.


PLEASE READ!

1) I believe that the artistic abilities I have are a gift from God, and I do not wish to use them in any way that would dishonor Him. I therefore reserve the right to reject any request I find objectionable according to my standards.

2) All commissions will be in pencil only. While there are examples of colored-pencil work in my gallery, this is time-consuming and difficult for me to a point that I will not take it on on a paid basis...no exceptions.

3) References are a MUST! The higher the quality, the more likely you are to like your final product!

4) All payments must be by money order or personal checks, all funds in US dollars (with apologies to my international watchers). I much prefer money orders. I will start work on your drawing once I have received your money order. If you must send a check, you guarantee your slot at the time the check has cleared.

5) There will be only three slots at a time. To get your name on the list, send me a PM with references and a description of what you want. I will indicate acceptance with a reply by PM and send my contact information at that time, and post your name to the public list. Your order on the list, however, will come when you pay. First pay, first serve! If I do not receive payment in a reasonable time (10 days), the next person to pay will move to the head of the list.
