Tool - Sober (Acoustic Version)

Well, it's twenty-oh-nine and time for the usual rigmarole right? Resolutions and such abound (though my fave still stands at 1280x1024 at 32bit) and I figure I'll give you folks the skinny on that and some other stuff, too.

Like every year, I'm going to try and draw more... at least more stuff that isn't tied to a particular webcomic of mine. Seems that Biff gets more love than any of my regular sites/galleries ever do. This should be corrected and I plan on rectifying it soon enough.

Another thing is I'm going to try drawing for an audience more often as it seems to give me a bit more motivation to finish stuff. Like a self-imposed deadline, the act of drawing for a crowd gives enough umph to get stuff done. Now, I thought I had all of the bugs worked out of my set-up but I did a recording of my desktop tonight and it took a good four hours to tone and finish off the latest strip. This is a process that should take an hour tops. Needless to say, I still have a bit to go before I'll have it down pat but I dig all the same. I really want to clear my desk this year. I have projects that you guys haven't even seen yet sitting in a pile just waiting for me to get to them. I kinda' want to get them out of the way or at least more done than their current state. I drop this one last as I doubt it will be tackled before Spring. I refuse to use power tools in the house and two of the previously mentioned pile require Dremel work. Oh, the life of a modder! = )
