That "Plotpoint Complete!" jingle from Super Mario RPG

Thougth my compy nearly died:

1. Compy freeze made me force-shutdown (I'm guessing while the HD wa writing something at THAT moment...
2. Go to sleep.
3. Wake up.
4. Start up compy..... liek it was being booted for the first time... O_O
5. My Folder is empty..... MY PORN!! ((O_____O))
6. Shout bad words (many).
7. Call a few places asking about data recovery...
8 $100 an hour?! $300 to $500 maxes?!?!??! >_<
9. Hm, what's this.... C: drive reads as nearly full.... so my files are still recognised, so they must be...
10. THERE they are, safe and sound!
11. Back up data just to be sure (my last backup is a few months old).
12. OK, now the problem is: When I try to log on into my profile on my com (password protected), it shunts me into a "TEMP" profile
13. Hmmm..... I could just reformat...
14. Run Error Checking (Y'know, left-click C:'s icon, Tools tab, one on top--- FYI: if you ever happen to lose data: try to use that compy as little as possible, and don't defragment, but run that Error-Check!), and reboot to run it
15. It runs, finds error in NTUSER.DAT, repairs (4 freakin' KB caused all this!), finishes...
15. HA! Total recovery, brilliant!
