First off there is an update for those who aren't total morons further down but you'll have to pass by all this ranting crap that i'm about to hence forth.
I'm getting ticked off with the amount of morons that keep on feeling the need to talk shit about the fact that i've even featured a wallpaper and then get all butt hurt when i talk back to them about how stupid they are.
Boo-hoo somebody said something bad to you on the internet and so you think the answer lies in talking MORE shit back to me? Seriously learn that i really get a kick out of making fools out of your pitiful and moronic comments. It makes my day to argue with you because:
A: You're ignorant sluts. You exsist for my laughter.
B: Your comments on how i should be demoted/banned/whatever make me think the following "Wow they actually think i care about being on a site that hasn't done jack shit for me for the past two/three years apart from introduce me to a few fine people? "Oh nooooo save me from thier ill wishes~""
C: I find it amusing they think they're smart enough to argue when they've only just realised that 1: There's actually a section for desktop wallpapers and 2: They think i've JUST BEEN MADE A MOD. when the truth is A1: it's been here longer then you have and A2: I'VE BEEN A MOD HERE FOR A DAMN LONG TIME YOU STUPID, STUPID WHORE.
D: If i get demoted/banned it's not because you want it. It won't be because i'm bad at this because quite frankly i'm not, no matter what you say. It's not even because just about most of the mods/admins are lazy, don't give a shit about the situation (and let me tell you now that they really don't give a shit. There are exceptions and you know who you are.) and will want a quick fix to the situation (which in this case would be a demo/ban) but it's because i'd just pack up and leave.
Which again won't be because of the "pressure" (because i find your comments laughable and moronic) but because i feel like i've had enough of the pure snobbery of most of the artists of SA. If it ain't an art style you agree with or understand they're you are going to flame it with everything you have. Seriously there has been only one person that has actually had enough decency on this site to actually come to me, via PM no less, and calmly and rationally explain, not why i shouldn't be featuring wallpapers but why they felt i hadn't chosen as well as i could have. And you know what? I replied back and explained why i felt i was correct but also said that i would take thier suggestion to heart and make future considerations based on what had been said.
Is that really so hard to do? Is it really? You'll get my respect from it, you'll get a nice well mannered response and most of all I'LL ACTUALLY GIVE A SHIT. It actually takes up a lot less of both of our time if it's done that way.
Now for people who aren't douches i'll give you an update on how stuff is going.
I've got my new laptop and it's pretty sweet. It actually can run my new copy of CS4 while running Winamp and firefox at the same time with no slowdown or anything so i'm quite happy. I've also got me a copy of Brawl at last so all's awesome as well but i can't be bothered to find any opponents so i'll just sit on my ass and wait for somebody to challenge me... however unlike Mario Kart i'm not quite as experienced with Brawl so don't expect the overwhelming crushing defeat you normally would do *coughprismindcough*
Oh and Sonic Unleashed? Imagine a cake. Imagine that half of this cake (The sonic parts) has all the makings of your perfect cake. Now imagine the other half has gone moldy (werehog). I have nutshelled the game for you.

as for your choice of a feature, i like it. avalon hasn't been in the spotlight before. the only thing i didn't like was your description for why you choose yet. yea, i know you were being sarcastic, but it was still in bad class.
that aside, people are just morons everywhere. i do agree that more and more sa artists are becoming snobs. hence one of the reasons i haven't posted much lately (the other being that wow took over my life).
really, i think spencer or pris may need to post a news article about it yet again. something needs to be done. it's not right that we wallers/graphic artists get flamed for what we do.

hon you do a fantastic job on your work and personally i love seeing them, and yes there are tons of morons out trust me i deal with them everyday because they can't get what they want but in the end they don't win all it did was waste their and my time but such is life. people need to learn to get the stick that's up their butt and get a life.

Let me tell you that everything you do is exactly right. You shouldn't be bothered by ignorant comments and focus on actual critics and opinions that don't include insults in them. It's ridiculous how much people can get worked up over a Feature if they don't agree that the artwork should be up there. I say voice your opinion, but without being a total douche. It creates such an annoying situation, nobody needs to deal with crap like that. But unfortunatly some people will never realize that.
If you lose your position for this or something else, I'll be really disappointed. You do a fine job. C:

Agree'd! I'm sorry you have to get idiotic comments like that, it is really annoying how people tend to throw more hate towards wallpaper art v__-. I completely agree with everything that Catleen said, she stated it pretty well :3 But it's good you don't really care for comments like that, I think I have yet to experience it since I don't post too many wallpapers ^^'..I was actually scared when one of my wallpapers did get featured that I would be flamed the hell out of it o3o but surprisingly I wasn't *yay* lol..anyway keep doing what your doing and just ignore those comments! :3

Believe me, it's not just SA, the entire world is full of them, and unfortunately SA gets most of the anal, whiney, butt-hurt "artists". I stopped going to creative writing classes because of the teacher, he was just far too artistey. It's a rare breed that can make what they love and be good at whatever form of art they may prefer and still stay sane in the semblance of a decent human being.
I apologize for the people that are saying these things, and I feel sorry for the person on whose art the comments are made. They really are just complete idiots who don't know the first thing about... well, anything, and while you say they only exist for your amusement, it clearly bothers you at least enough to come and rant about it. :C
So... I'm sorry. I can only agree fervently with you and hope that the morons go away.
