LONG JOURNAL AHEAD....

So around wednesday morning (very early... like 3 am) we left for our usual travels to St. Louis, Missouri. Got there, enjoyed dinner with a small amount of my family, eagerly awaiting the turkey day to arrive. It did, I ate, and was full. Got presents, then went to my grandparents house to visit them. Had a new taste of cherries soaked in scotch for 6 months...very good, but strong liquor. Anyway, was on my way home and my dad was talking funny. My mom started to worry, and we finally took him to the hospital. The next day, the doctors told us he had a mini stroke. I was scared out of my mind, thus my thanksgiving vacation was full of worry. He was stuck in the hospital for almost 2 days.

So good news is, my dad got out of the hospital. Bad news he might need some surgery.... the kind where they scrape part of your atrium (in your heart) so they can clear any blood clots. He also needs other operations, but that won't happen until January sometime. Man, I'm going to be visiting the hospital a lot.. =[

In other news, got back to college around 3:30 this morning. Skipped my first class, was wayyyyy to tired. Finals are next week. I cannot wait to go home for a long vacation! My birthday is in 10 days too! I was talking to my best friend on the phone last night and we both came to the realization that we are not going to be teenagers soon. She's turning 20 in march and I'm turning 20 next december. We are both a bit nervous, but once 21 hits, I'm going to florida to drink my ass off.... with her..

Art work is on hold. Originally during this past holiday season, I was going to work on my art coloring, which I am trying a new way of coloring, and wanting to try it out. So far it's not that bad. I still need to think of a background, so I am going to open this to anyone.

What would be a good background for this? She is the type that can control all principles of water (rain, ice, snow, whatever). I dunno what to do for the background. Help? D:

Also! If you have any cool ideas or trick on photoshop, and you think I should use it in this one, I totally will! Just let me know what it is or link the tutorial and I'll put it in! :3
