My good friend Kate had bought 4 male mice from the school to do her biology project w/... but now can't use them because she needs to have a different subject or something... and can't keep them because her mom hates them all. So. At school yesterday morning she was like, "Mel... do you want my mice? Like today?" And I said sure (abandoning the idea of what my mom would say...) and she called her mom to bring the mice after school & drop me, my dog, & the new additions off at home.

They're so cute Sucks that they're all male though so they stink like a fucker. But they get along well, since i believe they were littermates... just one of them had to be separated, because he was getting beat up on so badly. It's sad,he has a gross scabby/sore butt x.o I'm not sure what if anything to do for him, since it's already kind of healing on its own? But it looks painful. He lets me hold him though.

The names are as follows:
Dominic - the lone injured one. He's greyish brown (not sure what the mouse fanciers call his color...) w/ a whitish underbelly.
Cox - the dominant one. He's a light tan banded fellow w/ red eyes.
Pepe - the same greyish brown as Dominic, but banded. His white band is narrower than his 'twin's.
Ariat - the same greyish brown as Dominic & Pepe. Banded; his band is wider than Pepe's.

They're lovely little critters, stink aside. They're still nervous about being taken from their cages, but once they're out they're fine... calm, curious little chums.

Ugh, I have a lot to do today though :/ I was going to go to BP's house for a birthday-gathering for Kate, but I think I'm actually gonna have to forego that. My to do list currently reads:

-homework. Fuck you, history. But i have to get all my school work done this term... I'm really trying here :/ I didn't do very well term 1.
-clean mouse cages. Seriously, they smell.. really bad... and now my room smells.
-clean my room. It's kind of out of hand by now... I'm going to have to ask my dad to come in and putter D: Even though I'd have to hide stuff first.
-art. I've put off a lot of drawings for a long time.
-shower, etc. I need to shave... *mumbles*
and right now I really have to pee so bye.

Oh yeah I got a bladder infection. Ew.
