There are still nice people in this world.

I was at starbucks after work getting a green tea frappuccino simply because I wanted one...craving one all day. Well, for whatever reason the register kept declining my card. The girl behind the register said it could be that the system is down momentarily and tried it again. No luck. So I told her not to worry about it then "Another time another day" I said. I turn to leave and there's an older gentleman in a suit behind me holding out $5 with a gentle smile on his face. I was rather taken by this generosity and told the man, "Sir, you don't have to do that." to which he replied, "It's okay, someone did it for me once, I'm just passing it on." I thanked him and took the gift...offered him his change, but he declined it...so I put it in the donation jar and went to wait for my frapp.

It's one of those things that will always stay with you. I personally am the type of person to do something like this man did...but I never expect it in return....but I guess what goes around comes around..so make it good. :)

I feel wonderful...all because of the generosity of a stranger...and I must say that was the best green tea frapp I've ever had.
