The ring is so beautiful. It's a beautiful peridot (light green).

I'm very excited!

Well, here's how it happened:
He had been saying he wanted to marry me for a while, and finally tonight I asked him for proof. He goes, okay, you want proof? Brb. Get under that blanket.

So he has me hide under a blanket and he leaves for about 5 minutes, and comes back. "Okay, here's proof." He hands me some papers for a ring and I get this disappointed face. Then he smiles and hands me a ring box... "Will you marry me?"

So I said yes of course, and here I am.
