Ok, so I have recently been playing through Dragon Quest Monsters - Joker on the DS, and in fact have been enjoying the experience immensley. I've been a fan of the series for a long time, and fondly remember playing Dragon Warrior and Quest games in the past. The monsters are fun, the game plays well and the graphics feel like a Playstation One quality in places. But disaster strikes this morning, I am almost seventy hours into the game, ready to face the final boss with a team of monsters lovingly created and bred over hours and hours of play. I head out for one final levelling spree, taking advantage of the 'night' period's Skill Point-ups to put the finishing touches onto their move sets (completing them basically) when I try to save. To my horror the DS' battery dies whilst saving. Unfussed, I plug it into the mains via the adaptor - ready to complete the game, regardless of if the last round saved or not - and then to my horror I recieve the 'data corrupted' message on the title screen, and instead I am given not the option to complete my game, but instead to START OVER AGAIN FROM SCRATCH. Yes, the game is lost, the monsters vanished and the reset button firmly pressed. Can I restart right now? Hell no . . . I'm going to sit in the corner and play Kirby for a while till the gutted feeling leaves me *mock agony*

It's for this reason alone I stop playing games when the little light on the DS starts turning red
