As your friendly neighborhood fantard, it is my sworn duty and joy to spread the news whenever I learn of something potentially earth-shaking to the anime community.
And though some of you may already consider this old news, I feel that this first announcement has finally graduated from the rumor stage, and we can all celebrate--
A NEW FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST SERIES HAS BEEN ALL BUT CONFIRMED TO BE IN THE WORKS:[LINK][LINK]
My prime as an FMA fangirl may have passed a long time ago, and I have long since lost all faith in Vic Mignogna (yeah, yeah, it's a long-ass story), but THIS is new hope for me. I have no idea where the hell they could take the story at this point, but I'm thrilled to find out (if BONES is still producing the series).
A NEW DEATH NOTE OVA HAS JUST AIRED THIS MONTH IN JAPAN
The details are still very vague on this, but apparently it is centered around L's successors, focusing on the second half of the anime's storyline. Rumor has it that L will be making some kind of an appearance as well. DON'T MISS THIS, DEATH NOTARDS. Subbed clips of this OVA should be on YouToob within the next few days.
It's DEFINITELY an exciting week for the anime community. I can't wait to see what develops from the FMA project, especially since a new anime has been in the rumor mill for years now. Who saw that one coming?
