Does anyone have any advice for drawing hands?
I phale epically at them.
And I don't want that to screw up the picture I'm doing. T.T
HELPPLZ.
Ehhhh.... I should post something soon if anyone cares. Just to let you know. And it might be an art dump, I've been having finishing issues. >.>;;
Practice drawing your own hands. Pay attention to how the joints relate to each other, the length of each segment of the finger, proportions, etc. Hell, sit and stare at your hand for a while and play around to see what you can do with it. There is lots of learning to be had. Once you are comfortable with the structure of your own hand, begin to observe others from real life, photos, and film to learn about the differences and how the shape of the hand relates to the person. You will find that hands tell a huge story about the kind of work and lifestyle a person has. It's all just observation though, sorry. No easy way out.
