so and i get on the bus downtown to go to work this morning. right when the doors close, some kid outside screams "LET'S GET ON", and two arms busted the doors back open. then a line of disgusting kids with dirty blankets, baggy pants and chains shuffle onto the back of the bus. the boys smelled like spoiled processed meat, and the girls tried (and failed) to cover up their drugged up expressions with purple glitter eyeshadow. they probably smelled, too. one of them had this dirt-ridden dog that rubbed its face up against my elbow. it burned.

ok, so now the bus smells, big deal. but then one of them busts out a guitar, and they all start singing johnny cash's cover of "hurt". of course, they had to do this on the bus of all places. they messed up the lyrics, too.

so three or four painful minutes go by and they're finally done. one of them says what i've been waiting them to say for a long time. "this is our stop". so they collect their blankets and diseases and start hobbling off the bus.

but what they don't do is pay their fare. the driver - an older man - keeps saying "let me see your fare, you have to pay the fare", but they keep walking off. the previous stop was a ride free area, they could have gotten off there (only 2 blocks away), but they got off at a fare zone and didn't pay - on purpose (a girl had said at the last stop "this is the last free stop" and some other kid said "who cares".) after all of them were off the driver desperately asked for why they didn't pay, and one of them yells like a fucking dope "CUZ WE'RE PIMP", and they all disappear around some corner with a bunch of other worthless fuck-ups.

the driver didn't even bother calling the cops because it was rush hour and people needed to get to work. it probably isn't worth it, because these kids will end up dead in a few years anyway.

i felt really bad for the driver, who got taken advantage of by a bunch of self-made homeless pricks who can't even come up with a dollar fifty.

these kids should all be put on an island where they can pop pills to house music all day until they get dehydrated and decide to come crying back to the family they don't deserve. they even give a bad name to bums.
