...aight so I guess you can forget the WOE of that last entry, today was a good day...

Henry's doing really well actually for such an injury. He hasn't taken a crap since last night and usually he does that... more often... but he's been eating a lot (and I admit i've been especially spoiling him), and he can wag his tail which is very good. And, one leg actually seems to be partially working. As he was dragging himself around the backyard earlier, he actually managed to use his left hind leg to help push himself around... not like real, normal walking, mind you, but it shows he has some feeling & control with it, so, he's not entirely 'paralyzed'. I'm hoping maybe we can get him a little set of wheels (you know, like these) so he can get himself around better, because that seems to be his main issue. I felt all around his back and everything, and I can't find a swollen/painful spot?

My friend Lauren came over in the late afternoon. We watched Chowder and Flapjack and chatted for a bit. And... since I was recently complaining about being single... she wanted to set me up w/ one of her single friends... so we discussed (awkwardly) what I 'like' in a person. And she called her friend (*cough*ex boyfriend) Chris and we walked down to the mall to see him. Maybe I'm about to speak too soon, but i like him a lot, and I think he likes me at least a little... earlier when Lauren was itching to get going, she was all, "So is the exchanging of phone numbers done yet?" and Chris (or Fudd as he prefers) replied, "No. I just met her, I'm not gonna give her my number," and all this huffiness about how he didnt want to be set up w/ anyone. Inwardly disappointed, but I just shrugged and we hung around a little more, chatting casually, me just sitting there and him fumbling around w/ a bottle cap cause he was trying to construct a gravity bong... then 2 other kids came, said hello, said there were cops on the other side of the little island we were on. While they got going, and Lauren wanted to too, Chris was all "No, just wait like 15 minutes and they'll have moved on, then we can go." So we stayed... actually Lauren was already crossing the highway and I was about to follow but Chris picked me up over his shoulder (he issa tall un... 6'4'', 19 yrs old) and hauled me back under the trees Meh, so yeah, we waited, then he asked if we wanted to go on an adventure Cause one of his friends wanted to see the local smoking spots... but that adventure didn't last long... me, him, Lauren and Ginger started heading down the highway... walking quickly and talking and laughing... then Lauren's dad called and said he was picking us (Lauren & I ) up at the far side of the mall... which was a good walk away so we had to sprint, pretty much. But when we got near and we finally had to part w/ the guys, Chris handed me his phone to put my number in... and he gave me his number... and yeah... *giggly lovestruck schoolgirl F00L* ^.^ ...if he DOES call though, he did mention that his rule of thumb when it came to calling girls was to wait 3 days after getting their number... so... *sits impatiently by the phone... waiting for Thursday* <.< dammit.

ahhh yeah. So not that anyone cares but that was my lovin'ly evening.
