Well, Oh My God!

I can’t believe I am actually saying this, but I may be going to London Expo this year!

I’m so excited! Even though it isn’t actually finalised yet (still have to wait on my hospital appointment and go-ahead on time off work), I’m still researching already to get everything together.

I will be going with my dear Cousin Angela (who will either be dressed as Rinoa Heartily or Tifa Lockhart- haven’t decided yet), as she is on half term from her A2 programme at school.

We will hopefully be leaving on Friday and getting an express Virgin train from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston. We are planning to stay in the Premier Travel Inn (won’t everybody??!) and go to the event on Saturday and the Sunday, and travel back up to Manchester on Monday.

I will probably be going as Alucard as it will be cooler weather then, and I will be nice and warm with all my gear on.
But not only that, I don’t think I will have the time to make another costume in time for the event for late October…
But I guess we’ll have to see.

Has anyone got any ideas of a quick costume I could make for October? Do I look like anyone in particular?
Keep in mind that I do wear contact lenses so a character without glasses can be easily arranged!

I really can’t contain myself! I’m bursting with excited-ness!

If any of you guys do attend the Expo every year, I wouldn’t mind if you could give me some advice on the events they have there, like the Masquerades and the Skits you do.
Right, OK, I know absolutely NOTHING about these, but would like to be in them for this year’s event.
What do you have to do? Do you need to pay extra to be in them? What about your own music, must you bring that too? Can you sing, dance, act or whatever?

Any tips will be appreciated as in what to take with us, what to look out for, to see, buy and do would be greatly appreciated! We want to make out first Expo one we will never forget!

My Alucard costume is finished! That's the preview for it. I will be doing a photoshoot this week hopefully with my cousin's and boyfriend's costumes as well!
