NOT Required Reading, mostly venting

I've been trying to get my computer network back to working in my house due to someone going through my computers. It's involved a few reformats and wiring the whole house to a regular old wired network. I would have been happy encrypting my wifi but my one laptop doesn't support lower encryption (its a 128 byte or bust type setup).

Obviously, I was stupid to let the system be open for so long but I kept getting told that it could be dealt with and then things go yuck.

Also, I've been looking for a job, even signed on to an employment agency but they've got nothing for me.

There's also a bit of a problem with registering for next semester at my university. I needed to sign a contract for the next semester (due to my bad performance in one course, seriously 5 Bs and 1 C turns into academic probation here). I couldn't get the contract in yet due to none of the courses I needed being offered, so I changed the course requirements for my degree and now those classes I added have been dropped and courses I had removed to make room for the new classes have been offered again. So I'm still in limbo ><

Let's see...what else... I have an engagement party in a little over 2 weeks and I'm almost done planning things out (just need to order food and a cake). Never heard of these partied before but oh well, it's the first chance my family and my fiance's family have for meeting each other so as long as my grandmother and uncle behave themselves it should be fine. I know my fiance was mostly joking when he mentioned just going to Vegas now to get married and then throwing the reception and doing it 'propper' with church wedding later but I've begun to seriously consider it. Mostly so that we can start finally living together (we've been dating for 8 years now) but also due to the family situation at my home right now.

...There we go, all this is why I haven't been around much at all and sorry for the just random format of this journal. I needed to vent.

I will be back to being more active soon but for now, I've still got computers to repair.
