Ok, first off, I have one complaint, and only one complaint. There was no trailer for "Up" (Pixar's next movie) before the movie. That said, I'm going to go into the short film.

Short Film: "Presto"

Really great, if you go to see it, you will really enjoy the short film. It was really funny, and people in the theater will be laughing out loud. It is very reminiscent of the old Chuck Jones, Looney Tunes, Roadrunner vs Coyote, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck cartoons, and it's awesome.

Alright next, the movie:

Just spectacular. Way better than Finding Nemo (it's the same director), and really funny, and well made. A lot of detail, effort, and everything clearly went into this movie, and I was really happy with it. If you don't think you're going to like this movie, go watch it anyway, because you will be plesantly surprised. Easily the best thing I have seen in Theaters since Ratatouille, and without a doubt, one of Pixar's best films.

Also, go download the WALL*E podcast on iTunes right now http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=282678543

Anyway, I'm totally getting this movie on Blu-Ray and DVD when it comes out on November 4th. And for those of you who are wondering why i'm getting it on both, the Blu-ray version is to play on the fancy TV in the basement for some special viewing occasion, like on Christmas or something, and the DVD version is so I can watch it with commentary, and all the bonus features and stuff on my laptop or in the car by myself.

Also I saw "The Incredibles" with commentary recently, still one of my favorite Pixar Films. The worst Pixar Films in my opinion, even though they're all great, are Cars, A Bugs Life, and Finding Nemo. The best ones are The Incredibles, WALL*E, and Ratatouille. It's really hard to choose though. That second list might change.

Just go watch the movie.

My Step-dad just went down to Florida to interview some of the people who worked on it and gets a free viewing of it. They asked me to go with them earlier but I said no since they didn't tell me what it was for. Now after finding out, I sort of wished I had gone :[
