ZOH MY GOODNESS. RINGO STARR WAS AMAZING. Do you even UNDERSTAND what it is like? The magic of viewing a real live Beatle? How magical the Beatles were, are and always will be?!
yeh. Took a couple shitty pics, and a bunch of videos, prolly at least some to be posted on YouTube at a later date. Songs i got on video:
- "Down Under" (yes yes, w/ Colin Hay! d'you come from a land down under... where women glow and men plunder...)
- "Oh My My"
- "Liverpool 8"
- "You're Sixteen" (I think i got it...must go re-watch all the videos to check o.x)
- "Act Naturally" (bah, I didnt turn the camera on & zoom in fast enough, so I didnt catch the beginning :< )
- "Yellow Submarine"
- "With a Little Help From My Friends"
- "Give Peace a Chance" (looooooove it. This was the last song they played.)
and a couple more which escape me.
but.. oh my gaw. I think I can die happy now. I was in the same vicinity as a real live former Beatle. shiiitshitshitshit, son! And my dad said next time Paul is in the states, and in Boston or whatever, he'd get us tickets no matter how 'spensive... cause you cant put a price on the Beatles, you know... even as they are, flying solo and only 50% alive.
Ringo: What's my name?
Crowd: RINGO!
Ringo: What's my name?!
Crowd: RIIINNGGGOOOO!
Ringo: Makes you feel good.
^ Awww, thilly Ringo.
...satisfying evening. Yupyup.
Oh yes, and I got me a T-shirt (black... says RINGO on the front, w/ the peace sign for an O, and it has a picture of the Starr 'imself. Tour locations listed on the back) and a necklace (lil flat circular pendant, w/ Ringo's signature engraved on the back, and says Ringo Starr w/ a yin-yang on the back). I would've gotten a tote bag or sweatshirt too but I didnt have enough money meself, and I would've felt bad/spoiled for asking my dad for it... even though he had like $160 left to spend...
So. I'm happy. Off to bed now. gonna hang out w/ Kate and Jillian and Charles tomorrow.
PS; Oh yeah, and, we took Henry to the vet this morning... his poor little hind foot was all raw and swollen since last night, and he couldn't walk on it... So he had a brief hospital stay today to get the pus drained from his abscess. And i pointed out to Doc that he looked like he had crap in his teeth, so they cleaned that out too.. and what do you know, as it turns out, half his bad smellingness was coming from this decaying shit stuck between his teeth... which may have been from biting at his foot a long time ago, getting a chunk of flesh stuck in there, and thus causing both an infected lil paw and fucking nasty halitosis! That or it was just garbage. But they said the black bits were fur, so... Well, he came home today as well, kind of out of it but not too badly since he only got valium or some such instead of a full anasthetic. Still looked kinda stoned

And he has this dental rinse to put on his gums, and a solution to flush his foot-wound w/... the vet also said, warm or hot compresses 4 times a day for the next 3 to 4 days... so, hopefully he should be significantly better by then. In fact his paw looks a lot better since they drained it and everything. Still not pretty to look at, but before it was so swollen and painful looking, his little end-toe was sticking way out like it could have been broken or something o.o
...
okay good night for real.

aww poor doggie. It sounds like Henry is an expensive little doggie.
We had to put drains in a cat's face once because the face was infected from a bad cat fight. That was...pleasant.
Yeah, bad breath is not pleasant. I wouldn't be surprised if our dog ends up needing a dental when she starts aging. She already has some rank breath
