today i had my entrance exam for Melbourne High School (boys school for year 9+).
it was hell. four multiple choice tests on verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, reading comprehension and mathematics, as well as an analytical written exam and a creative written exam in that order. not fun. had to sit in this hall for 3 hours. i got about half the questions done on each multi-choice and freaked out when they said it was over and selected random choices for the rest of the questions, then after the next test they said they were designed not to be finished and we should only have got about half way through. spastic. anyway i had a boring day.
