Does it make me seem like an asshole whenever someone watches me and I don't go to their page and say, "thanks for the watch!" or don't watch them back?
I mean, whenever I get a watch I'm like, "My prayers have been conceived!!" and I dash down the worn city streets with my laptop in hand, dust kicking up in the air behind my shoes, and the elderly women in their sand covered houses give me toothless grins.
But whenever I get people saying, "Thanks for the watch" that is them basically telling me, "I TAKE NOTICE TO YOU BUT I DON'T RETURN THE WATCH LOL!"
I would watch everyone in the world, but I got tired of coming onto Sheezy after a week and seeing TEN BILLION updates on my thingy. This actually caused me to not view really any of them because I'd always have to resort to the Nuke button.
Because I've stopped making Pokemon parodies it actually doesn't happen that often and when I do, it's like a friendly greeting to say hello.
But although it's flattering, I'd rather people not always thank me for watching/favoriting them because it's not a + cool points, or a reward for doing something awesome, it's a "me liking their work and deciding to keep up with it or adding it to my favorites list" and I shouldn't be obliged to any commitment of sorts.
Opinions?

I stopped thanking people for faving since it gets kinda tedious/pointless. But meh, I always thank people for watching, 'cause I appreciate it. But it's not the end of the world if someone doesn't thank me for watching or whatever.

this is a new view to things. Never though of it like that. I do suppose that some people might think it mean to not leave a comment of thanks. I never minded if they thanked me or not. I only comment to people if they comment me first. Unless it's a friend, or on a really good art.

You make a pretty good point.
When i first joined sheezy art I would watch a lot of people. But when i realized that i watched them because i liked only one piece in their gallery i went through my entire watch list and reevaluated who i should watch. I dont think you should watch someone because they watched you. You should watch because you would like to see more from them. But saying thank you to people you watched you is a nice thing to see, because it shows that they at least acknowledged the fact that you appreciate their work....or something like that.

Or when I don't return a watch. My solution? I return every single watch I get so I make people feel loved and priveleged and special =D
I think I'm an actual asshole though because people still look at my work, but I never have time to check and comment on theirs.

Yep, you have a point here, although it's better not to watch those whom you aren't interested in much, that's why I keep my watches list good and clear.
Also even if I would return the watch, I wouldn't probably comment on those people anyway, only if they are amazing ones, then of course I will do.

Just unwatch a thousands of users that you forgot why have you watched them. I cleared my watchlist about a week ago and I don't get any anime sketch first try lolol stuff anymore.
