2. I actually was a member of DA before I came here.
3. It only started to bother me after I got a subscription and got used to fewer links there. It's an inconvenience but a small one.
4. Heh. Well I don't have one here so...not really.
5. I would say I generally get more at DA but I also have to admit that it a very long time to get noticed there. And it really depends on the painting as well so it's kind of hard to measure exactly how much. My most viewed painting at DA has over 7000 views, 95 comments and over 200 favorites. My most popular painting here has over 1300 views, 152 comments and 313 favorites. A more recent painting lines up this way: DA feedback is 93 comments, 146 favs and over 1000 views and SA 48 comments, 89 favs and just over 500 views. So yeah. It kind of comes and goes.
6. I...don't draw anime. BUT. I watch a lot of anime artistst and I haven't noticed them getting flamed or hated on for drawing anime. In fact, anime is very popular on DA as is digital art. Far more so that traditional art that isn't anime.
7. I don't see why it has to be either/or. Can't you maintain active accounts at both like others do? I have to admit that I'm more active at DA than here but I *am* active here as well. It's not too difficult. Two sites will offer more exposure than a single site so it makes sense to me to have both.

Not much. I have better luck on dA than SA for some reason.
Used to be the other way around.

Sometimes, like if it's just too generic for WORDS... like..like... the little ten year old anime girls with huge breast implant knocker things.

Stay on SA and dA.

I'm seiryumiko on dA though I only go there now to get brushes and textures for walls now after they deemed Anime Wallpapers not art worthy. I hate how their updates work, they never get cleared out all the way >< I always have 2 Messages no matter what I do so I don't really bother anymore. I only post writtings there now, and even then my last was a long time ago with little feedback (I think maybe 1 or 2 comments).
If you have a big following on dA, or your gallery over there is already pretty big, you might as well stay there but I do want to keep you here too. I promise more feedback as soon as I catch up with the Art updates.
