Fate/Stay Night - Disillusion
Well, first off, if no one noticed, I deleted it all. Again. And started it over. Again. However, this time I'm keeping my word, and I won't release chapters until I'm satisfied. Satisfaction equals as soon as the little outline/ abridged version is done. At this point, I've written up to where it was again.
But yes, I decided to screw it all and write the story first BEFORE putting out a real book-form version with dialog and all that. Working out well. I can make small edits here and there in case of any changes I think would be better than the original. For instance... Mitsuki is going to be a much darker character than before.

Also during that time, I decided to make the princess, who goes by Minh now, a much, much more prominent character. If this did what Ever 17 did with two protagonists, Minh would be the second protagonist. During this time, I also decided to give her a more colder personality, somewhat. She's mostly a mix of Tsugumi from E17 and Akiha from Tsukihime, but I think Rin from Fate/Stay Night would be the best comparison. Pretty much she's an intelligent person, a bit cold but has a caring side, and loves strategy. Can't get enough of it. She even thinks of war as a giant strategy game.
Anyone that caught the renewed chapters while they were online, you can probably guess why I decided she should be elevated to near-main character level.
EDIT: Don't know, but for my own personal tastes, I think I'll probably just make it mostly Japanese culture, with some western influences, like with Minh.
EDIT: Also, ignore all references to one Galvin. He's now out of the story.

This also allowed me to think of a nice idea to do later: When I start making prequels, the first I'll probably do is something involving Setsuna, the new name for Miokodo. Starts out happily enough, but ends up going down a Kara no Kyoukai path, being a serious person hunting down some kind of rival. I kinda decided against the idea of a war for this one. The second would involve the war mentioned in the beginning of the story, detailing further events that led to the first story to be written.
EDIT: Also, I decided sometime this week to do something special for the first story of CoT, once the epilogue is released. You might find it veeery interesting.

Eh, I mostly wanted to put some thoughts on paper while I tried to plan out how the next chapter would go. Some nice character development for Minh and her brother.

Yeah, it's important to have an abridged version on hand. The problem is finding someone who actually cares enough to read/edit it.
