You know, just the typical rambling about my lovely weekend thing I just like to put significantly sized entries on SA as well as LJ. Also i'm in a good mood.

Holy crap, I was at work so late yesterday :/ We close at ONE, and I didnt get to come home til nearly FOUR. Ugh. It was crazily busy, there was a C-section and some other stuff going on, plus i was already moving kind of slow because of my knees, plus Doc held me up for 20 min. doing absolutely nothing (well... holding a dog's head into the oxygen thing... but considering it was already knocked out, it wasnt much of a job...). And my cute litter of kitties has ringworm :[ So I cant touch them w/o gloves and a gown on...

Friday i babysat like always *sigh* It was actually nice because they were much better than normal... I brought over some of my favorite childhood memories in the form of books & movies :3 And they mostly just sat in the living room and enjoyed that for a while. We watched Balto and Robin Hood, and they read White Fang (picture book, kids version of course) and Beauty and the Beast and Dragons, Dragons... ahh... such beautiful pieces of printed paper. We didnt get to finish All Dogs go to Heaven so they're borrowing it until Wednesday. And i'm hoping these quiet evenings will become more of a habit, since they asked me to bring over more movies next time.. if it'll keep them quiet, sure. I'm just scared of when I'll run out of things they havent seen

To jump forward again to last night, after work I went over Mary's house... Kate was there too but she had to leave not long after I got there... we played Whoonu, which is the most simple but amusing game ever. Then we had delicious frozen pizza, and by that time Kate had left, so me, Mary and her little sister Teresa played Whoonu again for a bit then started watching Mary Poppins and switched over to Monopoly.. holy man, craziest game ever Did you know the SHORT version takes "60-90 minutes"? Towards the end we were all bored and frustrated w/ our finances and were probably only playing because we were stubborn and wanted to actually finish the game... Um, it was a struggle though, I tore one of the community chest cards in half cause it pissed me off by telling me to pay $150, then I tried to eat one of the wooden house things because it angered me... Also some new rules were made, like "Hmm, I have $400, which is kind of close enough to $500, so i'll just throw in the extra hundred..."

But OH LAWD Mary has a new kitten He's so cute1!!11!<1 His name is Jiji, he's a little black and white boy :> Haha, her other cats, Pumpkin and Lola, were curled up together in their box by the window, and we put Jiji in w/ them and it was an adorable pile of cats.. Pumpkin even started to lick his head... but then Lola was a bitch and walked away, then Pumpkin changed her mind and hissed at the little man and told him to get a life.

Ammmm yeah so I came home at about 9:30 ish. I borrowed this cute film from Mary, Gay Purr-ee... tehe, French kitty cats I started to watch it when i was real tired though, so I fell asleep about 40 min. in... so my plan for this morning is to go eat something, then I am going to go watch Gay Purr-ee the whole way through, and probably draw some stuff, probably including some fanart :3 Later when my mom comes home from work she's going to take me to get new sneakers for work.. my old Dr. Scholl's are all crappy (literally.. theres dog shit on the sides/bottoms that wont come off v.v) and worn and peeling apart. And since i have $60 or so saved from baby sitting (so, not including my giant jar of change i keep ) I may buy some more fun stuff too.. i dunno what I want yet... mm, artstuffs? Books? Clothin'? ...I did wanna go to the pet store and get stuff for Henry... he needs an ID tag desperately, and a new bone or something since I feel like he's out of thing to do when he's home alone, and I wanted to spiff him up w/ a bandana or somesuch too X3 Ahhh yeah I dont know yet. *yawn* *tummy grumble* I need food and stuff. Out!

(oh yeah and Lila got groomed yesterday, she's so pretty now No more scraggly icky butt-hair... and her fur's all soft and light. She had little green bows on her ears but she kicked them out )
