Okay, coming down with a slight mind questioning thing that is keeping me awake like crazy.

Recently found a new music program that allows you to create sheet music and save it. Really nice cause you can set an instrument to actually play, all that good stuff.

Also found a nice site that uses that program and allows downloading of already made arrangements of game songs that I've been looking for like mad. Makes remixing a shit load easier since I can't do stuff by ear just yet.

Only thing is, when you look at the arrangement, it the makers add the composer for the original I guess, as well as theirs for the current arrangement.

Now, if I use their arrangement and rearrange/remix it, is crediting them enough to keep people from trying to kill me? Or do I need to contact this person first?

I'd say the latter since they're submitting the arrangement online to begin, and its not like I plan to say "yeah I did this alone." Cause we should all know, I suck at most things I try and can't even start without some type of guide.

Anyone? Ideas? such?
