This site has gone to shit in the past couple of weeks.
I do believe this to be mostly my fault.
First of all, I'd like to say I'm sorry to all of you that I manipulated. It was hilarious at first, but it's just gotten out of hand, it all started with Windalgo being banned.
Windalgo
was not banned for the reasons in
THIS journal.
He was banned for several reasons. Like Giascle said in a recent journal, he was banned on numerous occasions. He was on his last warning when he preceded to sexually harass some kid about nude pics.
Another thing he did while on his last warning was poke fun at a girl for a poem she wrote
about her dead father.
Not to mention he demanded nude photos of Channel Cat when Channel Cat wouldn't unban him.
I was IMing Windalgo the very minute he was banned. Within 5 minutes of this, I made the journal requesting people to change their icons.
I took advantage of my watchers' popularity to spread this. I want to apologize to you all(namely
) who went on to read his untrue journal about it and go on to change their icons, protest, and make even more journals. I didn't expect it to get this far.
Because of the drama I helped to incite, Windalgo's own account has been taken away from him. He hasn't been banned, the mods didn't have enough reason to do that. They instead changed his email to an invalid email address, changed his password, and changed his icon to blend in with all the other UNBAN CHANNELCAT icons.
Now Windalgo can't get into his account at all. It appears the mods have used this as a last resort.
If you want proof, go to Windalgo's page, click on the Information tab in his profile, and look at his email address. winda|go@hotmail.com is not a valid email address, |'s aren't allowed in them.
With Windalgo's account taken away from him, Widalgo can no longer harass anybody in any way. This whole event will finally fade out of view, and everybody's icons will change back to normal.
That's why I'm taking this opportunity to apologize. So, SheezyArt:

Feel free to show this journal to everybody with an Unban Windalgo icon, or has made a journal about it.

I'm Just a random passer by, and i say this journal, and holy crap, its about time someone came forward, and hey, it took a lot to say these things and apologize, but man, the people who believed it, you have to admit, were very influenced by the fake journal, least enough to fight for a apparent 'unjust' ban, so that does show the kind of place, where strangers will fight for others if they think is something wrong.
but i'm surprised on the actions the mods took, but to be fair, if you look at the numbers, theres about 35 (many mods left temp due to their lives getting hectic) vs about 100k + members, so i guess anything they can do to restore peace would be necessary since the numbers out weigh them by truckloads.
but i know quite a few of them, and i know what kind of hell it is to be a mod (previous experience on other sites) and honestly, if they caved in everytime someone said there was 'something wrong' (like in this case) then people like Windalgo and Evilagram would just harass the site until the damage couldn't be repaired. so people need to stop thinking the mods are nazi's and just accept that they are really doing what they need to do.
and good journal, its nice to see people saying sorry ^^ and sorry for the long comment.
