**NOTE IN ADVANCE: I RARELY REPLY TO ANYTHING BUT PRIVATE MESSAGES AND EMAILS. DON'T JUST LEAVE A COMMENT IF YOU WANT ME TO READ AND/OR REVIEW SOMETHING. THANK YOU! 8) **
Hey there everyone.
I'm going to start featuring CS entries again next week.
If you have seen a CS piece you really feel is worth featuring, please send it to me in a private message (aka, note - comments left will be ignored. Do not suggest in a comment, please..) according to the following:
1. Make sure you send the title of the piece, artist name, URL to the piece, and why you like it. (And yes, I appreciate it when I receive a suggestion with good grammar and spelling. ; ) ) Also, please write, "CS Feature Suggestion" as the subject of your note.
2. ONLY SEND CS SUGGESTIONS. To clarify, "CS" is referring to "Craftsmanship", as in the "Craftsmanship Gallery" which I mod. (Yes, I need to catch up on my cleaning.. Dial-up does not make it easy.) Pieces which ARE CS include: Sculptures, Origami/Kirigami/Paper Mache, Costumes, Jewelry-making, Woodburning - i.e, more 'craftsy' things. Pieces which are NOT CS include: Digital Painting, Traditional Painting, Drawings, 3-D Computer Renders, etc. DO NOT send these to me for a suggestion - please send it to another mod. I just want CS pieces. : )
3. Research a bit before sending.. I will check it out myself to make sure a piece is not stolen, etc, but I will feel much happier about accepting your suggestions if you never send me something that is stolen. (Though yes, I know we are all human and make mistakes.. One I made is a big part of why I haven't featured in so long..)
4. You CAN *shock!* suggest yourself! BUT.. *catch* I will only recognize an artist once per year, so make sure to submit your 100% best work. If you're featured by me for something you did in 2008 or earlier, you will not be featured again until 2009 - no exceptions! So.. be sure the piece is what you'd like featured for this year before you send it..
5. Don't get mad at me if your suggested piece is not selected. I'm keeping all of the suggestions in a file on my computer so I can look through them in the future, but I am seriously looking for the best of the best - period. Let's show them all how great CS can be! : )
I'm looking forward to viewing your suggestions, and remember to PM me if you ever need a critique or such, ok? : ) *Hugs all!*
