Well, the week prior was spring break, but I'm actually back home this weekend. Parents wanted me home for Easter, you see. Break went really fast and I worked most of the days, but overall, it went alright. It was a breather compared to the following week. Problems with my roommate. I spare your ears the details. ;D The gist of it is that we all had a talk between our group and at least tried to settle things. We'll see what happens next week though.

But right now, I am home and glad to be here, honestly. I needed some room to breathe and not concern myself with all the woes, frankly. So, here I am BSing. Easter hasn't been a very big holiday for me, but I would feel bad if I didn't go through with the tradition of dying eggs and so on and so forth. So, I'll be doing that.

I've been watching Sonic X in Japanese now that I'm over my big phobia against it. ;D It's not too bad. I can't help but detest the English version, no matter how many times I tried to watch it. I don't like being anal and all pro-Japanese. I have heard a lot of good dubs. But this one is just so poor.

I'll also be gaming a lot over this weekend. My brother got Super Smash Bros. Brawl over a week ago (I actually was playing it with him spring break) and it is . I'm a little disappointed that a couple characters didn't return and some of the new ones are 'meh'. BUT. But, but. It is still amazing. The new stages and items are really fun to mess with, I love the new adventure mode (it's so much better than Melee!), and some of the new characters are really fun like Pit, Olimar, Snake, and Diddy. =D I would recommend it to anyone, honestly.

I will also be tackling Super Mario Galaxy, since I have sort of let it collect dust. I started on it over Christmas break but then clear forgot about it.

School-wise, I have received my mid-term grades. I have 'B's in my studio courses, so I'm very pleased about that. I have work to do for both of them though. I will be working on 3D this weekend and then Drawing classwork when I get back to college. The only class I have had problems with is math (no surprise there), but I'm going to talk to my professor and have that sorted out.

I don't know if I have ever mentioned this also, but I have been attending an activity (and it's actually considered a sport now!) known as DAGORHIR since September of last year and it's a lot of fun. I would invite anyone to start being a part of it. Once you get past feeling like a complete geek, it's very enjoyable. ;D But alas. I've written too much about life and not enough about drawing.

But there's no drawing updates to be made at the moment, so sorry. ; Maybe I will do something this weekend. Maybe not.

I sketched Dustin as a raccoon (all 's fault for mentioning making his character, Lavender, into one. I suddenly wanted to make one myself. Haha! Well, it's nothing permanent. I just feel I have too many foxes though (which is why Yoli has been changed into a marten)!

Oh, and we are always looking for newcomers at Sonic Aftermath, by the way! [/selfless advertisement]

I sort of can't wait until summer where I shall hopefully have more time to pay attention to this place instead of leaving you all hanging. Until then, happy drawing! ;D

Kiwi Joy Says:

Yes, damn you for leaving me hanging! I don't quite know what I'm hanging from, but I'm definitely hanging.

Go pro-Japanese, it's a better way of life =/ I had to endure a few dubbed episodes of Death Note and it certainly supplied a few laughs. It just feels to me like the original voices show how the character is meant to sound, and when you give a Japanese guy and American accent (and let's face it, you Americans are always so OTT about everything. "Gee wizz, what's a salad doin' on the McDonald's menu?!") is just ruins the mood of Japanese people and their culture.

And now. About Brawl. I'm getting a Wii for my birthday (in 4 weeks and 4 days 8D) and if you say it's good, I may have to splash out and treat myself. Although personally I'm more crazy about Nights. NIIIIIIIIIGHTS. *smacked*

Now I shall never talk to you again unless you give me arts :C Kthxbi c u l8r.
