I'm tempted to give a very firm-ass and critical review of the game here on a journal. Should I? |3
I've been Smashing and Bro-ing since the days of the very first back in.. uh.. 1998-ish? Bah I forget, but yeah, I've never been particularly a "Pro" player, cause I always play for Leisure. I abhor the wavedashing, L-cancelling and edgehogging [even though I can easily replicate it and do it myself] so Brawl is a treat for me ;3
..and quit angsting about not having Brawl :\ Yes, be dissapointed about not having it, but jesus christ, don't be depressed and whiny about it, I've seen a lot of people be like that. It's retarded, just for a game.

I've been really desperate to get a friend match, since I can't seem to get random online matches to work, and I want to see if playing friends makes any difference.
And yeah, the "pro" players get on my nerves. When you get to the point of exploiting glitches in the game to win, it's just not fun anymore. I know a guy who was one of the top ranked Home Run Contest players in Melee (I think he even held the Ganondorf world record), and I asked him how the heck he managed to get his distances so high, and he showed me his game data.
Over 2000 hours of play.
ASDFKJSHBAJKHS. I think there's a point where it goes too far. And he crossed it a ways back.
