I got my two new kitties yesterday. I cleaned so much of my place! It was soooo bad after my recovery period, I just got way too used to not moving, so things got cluttered beyond belief. That... and I'm already a pack rat and a non-cleaner.

Bertram and Mitnick are situated in the bathroom. Even though it's a huge bathroom, it's just filled with all their things. They have a cat tree that's as big as me! The lady who I've gotten them from gave me all their belongings, including a large cat carrier, which is something I always needed. They have so many toys, scratchers, and blankets. :) She even brought over new things for Goblin, so a) he could have things to get used to the new kids' scents, and b) he can not feel left out or ignored. So far, Goblin has been SO hyperactive. He has no anger or confusion about the new smells, and has taken immediately to the things with their scent that I've place in the living room. He's completely nuts with curiosity about who is living in the bathroom, and keeps making chattering noises and inquisitive meows for 10-15 minutes at a time, lmao. He's been attempting first contact with Bertram & Mitnick by sticking his paws under the door. They, of course, are extremely shy after having been abandoned and moved around a number of times, so it's going to take some time before I can let all three boys in the same area. I will probably get a baby gate for the bathroom door so they can see and talk to each other before then as well. I want to introduce them slowly, especially since they are three males after all, and I don't want them to get off to a bad start, and the kids are very very shy. Especially compared to Goblin! (Right now he's in front of the bathroom door again... he's chattering with his nose to the crack under the door, hahahaha. Cute.)

The new boys are so beautiful. They're semi-long haired, which is new for me because I've only ever had short hair cats. Even the dogs we've had have all been short hair. They have HUGE paws, and they feel like petting silk. :) Bertram has been more social with me. He comes out of their little kitty tent and rubs against me, flops onto the floor for belly rubs, and is such a sweetie. Mitnick, as expected, has holed himself up in the tent and will not come out. He will let me reach in and pet him, and he digs his head into the scratches happily, but he won't budge. It will take time, but that's not a problem for me... I've got oodles.

I am completely open for commission work; back to three slots now since I've got the free time. First come, first serve. If you've ever wanted one from me but have been waiting, now would be an extreme help to me... I need the money.. not to sound like I'm begging, but that's pretty much how it is.

Check out my commission section on my portfolio site for everything you need to know. Link's in the directory on my front page.
