Well i've just come back from a trip to Brisbane to see a friend, it was my first time there, furthest i've been before was the Gold Coast (about 1 hour away from Brisbane depending on traffic).

And it's not often (if at all) that I get to go to a big city so it was pretty amazing with all the shops around the place. Particularly the fact that one of the malls had a cinema at the top floor which had 7 screens, ours pales in comparison with 1 lol.

I also found 2 pretty cool stores, both anime/comic related. The first I purchased two Gundam Mech models from, haven't built a model in years. Plus these didn't need painting or glue so it was much easier. Still took me 2 days to do one of them (Strike Rouge):



The other shop had some pretty awesome stuff, particularly the models, they had a ton of star wars models which were quite decent in size (even had some which were modeled after fight scenes), they were however in the $150+ price range.

They did also have a quite large cloud model from advent children (keep in mind that phantom head is the size of a normal head)(It was $800 if you can't read the sign):

But yeah overall I had a great time there, and i'm planning on returning in October for the Supanova Pop Culture Expo. If anyone's going, I guess i'll see ya there
