A few weeks ago, I was tagged by :iconLadyShieru: and just now I was again tagged by :iconcomic-chic: That's a sign that I'm way behind

SO let's get on with it!

About this meme:

1) I don't like energy drinks. I think they should be outlawed (They're dangerous for you in the end!) How about a Coke? xD

2) Since I was a kid, I would mix macaroni & cheese with chocolate milk (And I still do xD). Don't ask me why, I just do.

3) On that previous note, I eat rice with spaguetti, with a Coke drink. Or mashed potatoes with spaguetti, with choco milk. YUM ;9

4) I AM A WWII HISTORY BUFF. I like the French Revolution and WWI too, but you dangle something WWII-related in front of me and you can make me run all the way to China. I might die, but it's WWII

5) I am part of the group of people that first started watching anime back in '94 (?) w/z Sailor Moon. And I've been drawing anime/manga styled art since then. So, um, yeah, I am not a wannabe xD On that previous note, the only American comics I've read my entire life were Archie comics :3 It's only about 3 years ago that I started reading DC, Marvel, webcomics and/or Independent comics.

6) I've never had a Boyfriend. I've never been kissed either (duh)

7) I was a Salutatorian in High School *quite proud* Too bad I couldn't be Valedictorian since my mom was D: xD

8) I know English and Spanish fluently. I was self-teaching myself Japanese, but I've stopped since I've entered college. Now I am learning German and Russian.

And I'm going to St. Petersburg, Russia in the summer!! I also have a job secured, which is translating from English to Spanish (and vice versa) which is the field I want to go in! (Translation)

*sigh* Well, I don't know if that was interesting for you xD I hope at least you had a good laugh at my expense.

Ok, SO! I'm sure two of you have noticed that I'm not very active now. That's because I have 18 credits = 6 classes = a whole lot of readings for each class (except German and Russian xD). BUTTT I will try to post old stuff from 2007 (the Secret Santas, mostly) and some new comic pages (just examples xD), plus some new art (original or fan art).


Speaking of which, I have a new idea for a project. It's tentatively called "Magical Girls." I guess you can figure out for yourself what it means xD I want to do some illustrations featuring iconic or popular magi-girls. I'm also thinking of featuring some original ones, mostly of my own series.

If you'd like to help w/z inking and/or coloring, or submit your own magi-girl (it has to be from your own series, not one you just made up on the spot), go ahead and note/comment here. :) I will be doing magi-girls from animes that I think are important, both in American (beginning of the 90s boom) and Japanese culture.
