Hi. Well I hadn't had much time for my art for a while the last part of last year. I had a temp job that worked me overtime (with 5:30 am start-times, ugh... not easy for this night-owl) for 3 months, so no time for art. :( On the upside, the work was with a school photo company, so I had 100's of thousands of pictures to look through in that time that fed my mind and imagination with ideas and visual reference. If for no other reason, I see it as a beneficial experience.
Although I do regret that I've neglected my time here. I'm sure there's been a lot I've missed, particularly Dybbuk's work/ conversation.
Anyway, it's finally over, and while that means no more steady paycheck at the moment, it does mean more time for my art (and reapplying my efforts to gaining freelance and commission art jobs)
I have a lot of other work planned. Many beginning sketches/digital roughs to bring to 'life'. Just because I wasn't able to work on my art doesn't mean I didn't have any ideas.

And boy did I have a lot of them! My digital painting, 'Girl with Red Umbrella', was one of those ideas, although the seed of it was prior to the job.
So, in the coming weeks, I hope to at the very least have some sketches to share. I have several digital paintings that have been in a half-finished state both from last year and some recent. Hopefully I can finish those up to share soon. :)
Thanks for viewing my gallery and enjoying my work, especially those who have commented/fav'ed. Your support is a bright spot to days when I just want to hang it all up and try to get a 'normal' job instead of pursuing my dream. Thanks :)

awwwwwwwwwwww....;0; i was wondering where you had run off too. I was gone for a while [for schoolwork] but I'm making an effort to return here as well. I'm so glad that you now have time to create your wonderful art!![I also really missed your work and conversation] And working in a photo company has probably really fueled your creative fire!! I can't wait to see what's been done...so expect a lot of catching up
