Case 1)
Aside from fangirls... Am I the only one that feels sick of those (senseless)art preachers?
When they CRAWL to X artist, and everyone astarts fanartfanartfanartfanartfanartfanartfanartfanartfanart!!! of his/her crappy characters that are completely a ripoff of some anime/game main character?
As usual, this is another of my childish rants...
But really.
It's like Y!Gallery... Everyone starts to stalk people, Like I.E humbuged...
And he is a REALLY good artist. But what the hell? it's loely to see his artwork, but not fanart of everyone everwhere and links posted in every fucking journal in existence. o-o;
Or with the two unknown KH2 freaks of DA. The same, 9235934756934868 fanarts of their ripped characters, links everywhere...
Those guys are hell of artists, but when you get flooded with their things... I really get to feel sick.
And when I get to see their art and the 999 freaks, butt-lickers spamming "OMG HOW CUL U RULE" (AKA -> Give me free sketches!)... I almost feel dirty for watching them.
Case 2)
This is no rant, just a "whatever...".
Recently one of my favourite men artists (MonkeyGoGo) got obssesed with a random yaoi artist.
Which draws giant penises. Giant.
So he changed his style and did the same.
Which completely ruined all his art in my view.
Of course it is his art and has the right to do it.
I jsut hate when things like that happen though.

Case 3)
Am I the only one, then again, that when getting to know an artist (And most of the time finding out that s/he is an asshole that fails in life)... Feels sick of een his/her art?
Because really. Three times I've had a good relationship with 3 good artists, and in the end they were just emo bitches with egocentrical complex.
Aparently, being really good at art turns you into a emo freak.

I agree with you on most cases, Case 3 is a little harsh, I know many people who are sucessful with life and are great artists too. You may be seeing the emo side since internet tends to attract that kind of person (unfortunately). I do know what you mean though.
Case 1 sounds very much like what I see here daily. As well as certain users (whose names I am not going to mention) who play the watch game. Watching people just so they can get watches back.
But yeah, I'm with ya! :3

As for Case 3, it just depends. I agree with what your first commenter said. A lot of people put on this facade, just cuz they think their cool. =_=; The internet is full of posers...
