Once upon a time,

There were two trees growing next to each other in a forest. One tree was very straight, tall, and strong. The other tree was very crooked. One day, the straight tree said to the crooked tree, "You're Crooked! Why don't you try to be more like me? Look at me! I'm tall and strong."

Then the lumber jacks came to the forest and they said, "Take all the good trees."

And to this day, that crooked tree is still in that forest growing stranger.
