Personally, I don't know what's the hype of New Year's... Only time it was actually special was 1999-2000 and that's it. Now to me it's just:
"FIVE!
FOUR!
THREE!
TWO!!
ONE!!!
........well, now I gotta get myself a new calender......WTF? Kmart sells them at $9.99 each?!"
So.........yeah....relatively pointless to count down to midnight just for people to get drunk, dance until they exhaust themselves and/or fall asleep from exhaustion while you wake up and realize you missed the countdown or wake up with a huge hangover and tell yourself to never do what you did the other night again.....just to see yourself at the same antics 364 days from then...
In short, I just think New Year's is just another meaningless "holiday" like April Fools or Washington's Birthday....who really cares about them anymore, seriously?
