Got to the end of Metroid Echoes, killed Emperor Ing then friggin dark Samus appeared and a gay 7min time limit. I got her to half hp before I ran out of time, she just wouldnt take any friggin damage after half hp. I doubt I'll ever be bothered to slog through Ing again for another go at D Samus.
Why do the Metroid team have to be so damn evil and cruel.. Its bad enough Ing has 3 forms without having dark Samus and a time limit too..

Aww... I hated that too. The game wasn't anywhere near as mean as the first one though.
Here's the thing tho, two things...
1: if you choose continue you fight from Dark Samus again and not the Emperor anyways...
2: to damage dark samus when she's at half HP you need to charge your charge beam when she goes into her little forcefield... try and avoid her big shots but when she does that little sparkly thing aim your gun at it and your charge collects the phazon...
once you have your charge all blue coloured then fire it at her sorry butt ;) She takes a LOT of damage from a phazon charged beam... and the time limit becomes pointless... You'll have a ton of time left if you get the hang of it :)
