well, yesterday i had a real startling event happen. when i got home from school late yesterday and my dog came to greet me(like he always does), i noticed his left eye looked a little funny, i got closer look at it and his eye was extremely clouded over and looked slightly sunken in. i called over my parents to check it out and they too through there was diffinity something wrong with it. we had no idea was caused it and wether he injured himself. we were all concerned about it, so we called the vet, the vet said it could be anything from a serious head injury to a eye inflection. so we rushed him to an emergacy vet clinic not too far away to see what was really wrong.
when we got there, we told the vet what his eye looked and no idea how it happened. so the vet took him in the back room while me and my parents waited in waiting room. we waited a good long time. the whole time i was worring it was not somthing serious, i know my dog is old but i didn't want his condition to get any worse then it was. when the vet finally came too us, she said it is mostly a head injury and the his eye looked the way it is because of the swalling, but it was very serious injury. so the vet gave him a staroid and other medcation to help relieve any pain he had and reduce the swelling. the vet said keep him off any other medication for a few days and if over the weekend his eye still looked bad, go for another vet checkup. we were allowed to take him home, so we did. when got home, the dog looked extremely tired. so he spend the rest of the eveing sleeping. but today he was better, his eye way back to normal(apperatitly the swelling had gone down overnight) and his energy when back to normal too. i was so relieved it nothing too serious.
well, that's the story, bye for now.
