You'd be surprised that some people can be good at one kind of artform and totally crappy at another. I do agree with you though that it seems rather odd. Background checks may not be in the moderator code for featuring art perhaps, although I'm sure it should be if it isn't.

The fact of it is, it's in his main gallery, whether he claims to have been the one to make the suit or not. None of this drama would have started up if he put it in the Shareables. I'm very surprised at so many people for their reactions in the comments, most of them I even watch and they fell straight for it.
Also, the Feature Description was so much better than the artist description. How do they know what it's made out of!? Auuugh... The Mods prove their phail once again.
