Yesterday evening was funny... I logged in and wondered where the new watchers and comments on my page were coming from. I really was confused until I say my
Marker Tutorial being featured! Woah! *still dances around* I put so much work into making this one but I never thought it would be featured.
So thank you very much! ...and all the people who faved it! Love you all!

Otherwise I would have to say that it was probably featured for the sheer amount of effort you have put into making it, I could imagine you had to do a lot of scanning for each part as it is all traditional based, also that it seems accessible to everyone from the people who have used them before to the people who haven't yet discovered the love of markers.
It's clear and easy to follow, the way you have described it doesn't make it seem like you are being elitist but on level with everyone else. That and it's a thorough tutorial.
Or at least that is what I think
