*flail* I think it's time for another one of these.
>> so I'm in all sorts of odd moods lately.
I'm working on my business. I'll say that much. I'm making great progress if you can believe that.
I still work a ton at my job. I had my first day off in 6 days this past Friday. And better yet, I was supposed to get paid Friday but direct deposit got screwed up so I actually have no money right now. Good thing I paid my bills at the beginning of the month. Payroll is also closed on the weekends :\ have to wait until next week to get my munnies.
I've sketched quite a bit. There's a large dump that needs to go on my LJ but it's taking forever because I have to resize them all and there are a load of pictures.
I've also done some PS stuff but I wouldn't consider most of it worthy. I may get around to putting some stuff up here it just depends on how much I really like it.
I've logged about 24hours on Okami. I'm proud of myself.
Random story thoughts have been popping into my head. I made over 14 pages of notes on this one story idea. I just have this little problem when it comes to writing.
How do you guys actually feel about writing? Do you read other peoples writing if it's posted on the internet?
I know I don't :\ I pretty much avoid it unless it's by one of my favorite artists. I just don't like to sit and read. Does that make me horrible? Even so, at least I'm honest.
Once some things are sorted out I was thinking of doing commissions again. It'll still be 3-4 months from now.
In your opinion, how worthy is my art to receive money?
If you think my artwork isn't worth getting $10-15 a sketch, I want you to tell me. Give me your pure cold hearted opinion if that's what it is.
And please re-frame from saying "I love your artwork! It's worth whatever you'd want to charge for it." I don't know why but that doesn't help me.
Point out my flaws, point out my good points (if I have any)
I'm not currently feeling 'low' or 'self-doubting' right now. I want an honest view point from someone who would buy my art and what they'd pay for it.
I have to say that I was surprised. I don't believe that I've told you this but while attending AFO 8 this year I sat with a friend in Artist Alley. I didn't have my own Artist Alley table but I sat in a vacant seat beside her. People came and enjoyed my artwork. I got into may conversations with people. People took my card (not that they really looked at my site) and I made a commission and almost 2 others. One I didn't get because I didn't have the reference :\ (laptop, I need you)
But I have to say, it brightened my spirits about fully becoming an artist because my last AA event that I participated it was 2 years ago and I got almost no attention and made $6.
But I don't want to get too high in myself. I want to know what you all think.

Now when you say writing, what kind of writing do you mean?
Do you mean prose [as in just words] or manga/comic book?
Personally, I enjoy both most of the time both in print and on the web. It just depends on the story telling ability of the author/creator. :]
As for commissions, if I had to pick a range, I'd say $5-15 or maybe to $20. I can't say anything definite because it just depends on how much detail you put into it ['cause really, who'd only charge $5 for something with so many details that your hand cramped while doing it? xD].
You have a lot of good points, like the fact that your works are really imaginative and you're really good with details. The only real flaw I could pick out would be [and I being really picky here] your facial features aren't always in proportion with each other. But other than that, you're good. :]
...Lol, that probably has to be the longest comment I've ever written on Sheezy.

Awww Thats sooooo exciting!!
And OF COURSE your art is worth MORE than $10-15!!! I would pay you. :) But, I have no idea how to do that
I really miss you space cowgirl. How are you doing besides all this?!
