CONTEST INFORMATION
Literally, this morning/afternoon, I'm leaving again to Boston, MA. I have just compressed my entire life (my fabric) into 4 jumbo sized vacuum storage bags (which are the coolest things in the world) and now I have to work on packing everything else.
I've been tagged by a great many to do the following memes, so here are my responses:
Ive been tagged to tell 8 random facts about myself. I will tag four of you to do the same, so read on to see if one of them is you!
Facts:
I got to Boston College, double majoring in Elementary Education and Studio Art with a minor in Geology.
I used to figure-skate for competitions (Harvey Camp friends - this is how I found out about Harvey Camp and started to go to it).
My twin brother goes to Harvard.
I just got into graduate school! I'll be going to BC grad studying "Working with Moderate Special Needs Students" like me.
I have dyslexia.
I just got a haircut and
now I have bangs.
Due to my excessive amounts of both sewing and crouching down to cut fabric/sew fabric, I can crack my back in hourly intervals - and often do so.
I was a certified kickboxing instructor. For all those who looked down on me or thought I was weak, just know that I'm certified to kick your butt.

Mmm, in terms of your digital art, your hair styles are a bit blocky. Perhaps work a little more on some curves?

2) Like I've been saying to everyone else I do these for, sometimes I don't comment as much as some people because I try and comment only when I have something more to say than "I like this" or "great job".
3) I really love your plushies!
4) Your art is very cute, too, but I think you should work on your line arts when you CG. :3 Sometimes they look a little shaky. I dunno what you use for them, but if you don't already, try using the pen tool - it makes nice smooth lines. Or if you are using the pen tool, try fooling with the settings. I'm not too familiar with Photoshop, but in Paint Shop Pro there are options like "miter limit" and such that help make lines smoother or a little more edgy.

1. I have you on my watch list because not only do you do great plushie work, it's refreshing to see a completely different medium in my updates box every now and then.
2. I comment because I like sharing thoughts. And in this case, answering questions.
3. I love seeing your dolls and your comic is very cute.
4. Lineart, yes. In addition to trying to smooth out the lineart, I would also suggest experimenting with different line widths. It might help in emphasizing the depth in your comic, showing what the important figures in the panels are.
5. What everyone else said so far, your sewing!
6. Sometimes I can't find something thoughtful to say other than a generic two word praise. And sometimes, if there's already a bunch of comments, I feel that perhaps what I want to say has already be said. I don't like reiterating things sometimes.
7. An admirer mostly.
8. To tell the truth, I honestly don't know. I haven't been watching you long enough to be able to tell a noticeable difference. Then again, I'm also prone to completely missing details.

12. No. That's just a sad low in my opinion :0
13. I think you're fine in how often you update. No reason to rush half completed ideas in order to fill our update boxes to the brim and it would be kind of sad to withhold completed pieces in order to update too little.
14. From what I can remember, when I first saw that jolteon on the front page, it was absolutely amazing and it was so like its cartoon counterpart. That, and the pictures of the sand sculptures.
15. Gee, I dunno... how about painting? Maybe not on a canvas but on objects and stuff?

Well, as you know, you're plushies are awesome. But every once in a while it's cool to see something random. Like that Tree Costume you did. I ROFL'ed for days. X3

Hmmmm.....that's tough. If I say something, I'll feel like an ass. If I don't say anything, I'll feel rude for not answering....um...plead the fith? ^^'

Your crazy personaltiy!! Nah, um....sewing skills!

I may just be having a "blah" day. Or I may not be too into the piece itself, whether it's because it's something I don't recognize, or because it just doesn't draw me in. But I try to comment as much as possible for ya Vestie. ;D

Hmm....a bit of each, but in the end I'd say friend.

Oh yes, definitely! One look at that Midna plushie and your manga can tell you that. God, I still shudder in iferiority every time I see that Midna plushie. ._.

Probably Saa Ling. She seems like she's going to be a tough cookie. ^_+

Hmmm....that's tough. I plead the fifth again? ^^' ~nyoro~

The fact that you put your all into it. These days you'll see a lot of artists with talent that underchallenge themselves. I'm often left amazed at the integrity of many of your pieces.

HA! No way. That's waaaaay too shallow to be my style. 8)

Ooohh.....dammit! I have to choose? Um....*thinks*...probably a tie between Mida the Plushie and that Tree Costume. Only becuase I won't pick my own comissions in fairness to you. lol

Hmm...I don't know honestly. I'm not all familiar with too many programs myself, since I'm 90% traditional artist. Um....maybe Photoshop? A lot of digital artists seem to like it.
