Mmkay. This rant is going to be short and sweet, kays?
And if you're offended by this subject, okay. Don't complain to me about it. I am simply expressing my opinions. :3

So, me and a friend of mine got to talking about Homosexuality, because I read something on
's journal.
Now, I am STRAIGHT. However, I SUPPORT HOMOSEXUALITY.
People who are homophobic, well, I truly haven't seen a good reason to why they fear or disrespect homosexuals. Love is love, and should be treated as such. When people have a good enough reason, you tell me and we might get somewhere.
With this topic, I must bring up Yaoi and Yuri.
I have seen Yaoi Love Clubs/Yaoi Hate Clubs.
I have seen Yuri Love Clubs/Yuri Hate Clubs.
I love Yaoi, and I support it, as well as Yuri. Plus, I thinkg both Shounen Ai and Shoujo Ai are cute. :3
However, there are things I have seen that just... er... "grind my gears" so to speak.
Like, Yaoi hate clubs with no real specific reason.
Pairing up characters from an anime who are generally straight, and even characters from films may seem wrong. In fact, in most cases, it is.
However, pairing up two straight men is not the fullest intention of yaoi.
For that matter, yuri as well. Pairing up two straight female characters is wrong at times, yet, sometimes, it can be fairly cute.
Everyone has their reasons.
But I digress. The point I am trying to make, is that, that is just a small part of it.
Yaoi and Yuri is also about pairing TWO GAY PEOPLE together.
I have found some people that do not understand this.
Am I a flamer for discouraging their believes? No. I simply find it wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
However, I am not, in anycase, shoving this in peoples faces saying, "OI! THAT BE WRONG, SUCKA! D:<"
So, just felt like saying that. I'm bored, I am tired, it is 3:11 in the morning.
I felt like ranting about something, and this seemed to be the topic of the day.
I must say, I am looking forward to comments. I'm looking for a good conversation. :3
What do you think? Is homosexuality in general wrong? Is it right? Neutral?

And homosexuality I have nothing against, even if my dad does. I just hate the fake homosexuals, or just as you can call them 'homos' who aren't gay but act it because they think it's a fad.
And Yaoi/shounen-ai and yuri/shoujo-ai I have nothing against....except for non canon couplings of straight characters, those annoy me....I mean...I saw Inuyasha/Sesshomaru shounen-ai.....'>> Even Sesshomaru/InuTaishou....

I'm a christian myself, but IF there is a god, why the heck would he forbid homosexuality? The bible isn't written by god, it's written by humans and it have changed through the years so it could fit the insane people
Actually xD the only problem i got about yuri and yaoi is that alot of people don't know that most of it is shounen-ai or shoujo-ai, they don't know the difference between it all xS!!!
But i don't mind people posting yaoi/yuri/shounen-ai/shoujo-ai cause it's just drawn pairs it's the same goddamn thing as real porn or cute pairs pictures :<<<!
BUT! The thing i hate is! Alot of gays says they want to be treated normally because there's been so much hating, okay fine i say, BUT then someone yells "SUPPORT THE GAYS THEIR THE BEST" and that's not treating them normally o.o' that's treating them better than others, SO DON'T SUPPORT GAYS BUT DON'T HATE THEM EITHER!!!

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with homosexuality. I think the people who fear it are just insecure with their own sexuality. Why else would someone be afraid of someone like that? How many times have I heard homophobes say, "Oh, I don't want X near me, he might hit on me!" ....No. Just because someone likes your gender doesn't mean they'll hit on you. And have you noticed it's almost always the ugly ones who say something like that. No one of the opposite gender would hit on them, so why should someone of the same?
And I don't think homosexuality is a sin in the slightest. As Hean said, the Bible was written by men. Men aren't perfect and since the book is so old and has been translated so many times, we don't truly know what the original Bible truly said.
But anyway. That's my opinion. It probably doesn't make sense in the slightest since I just woke up, lol.

LOVE IS LOVE! man, i was about to have this rant, but you took the words right out of my mouth, however, i am not straight. ^^ i still say that i'm bi, but i think that i'm leaning more towards being a lesbian now. yuri and yaoi are awesome. in fact, they are some of my favorite shows. (Gravitation and Strawberry Panic are my top results.)
i agree with Hean. religion screws with peoples minds. you might be relgigious, but that doesn't mean that you can hate people who are... well believe in something that they don't agree with.
Okay, okay, i really have to stop or i could go on forever...
but i just recently had to go through one of my best friends is a Jahovis Witnes( no fucking clue how to spell it) was dating another girl and my other friend. her parents, well, didn't take it well and split them up, moving my best friends away, so that she couldn't see her. it was very dramatic. it made me fucking angry. gah....
^.^ sorry, it still makes me furious.
