It was rumored before, but I finally got confirmation today: My Universal Healthcare documentary was shown on Kingston Public Access TV last night on a call-in show.
I'm told it was well-recieved by all the people who called in. I'm hoping the show was recorded and I can see the reception it got, because I don't live in New York. x)
As far as Documentaries go, The healthcare one I made was far from revolutionary - in fact, as far as they go, it was pretty below sub-par (good cinematography, though). It wasn't very well thought out ahead of time, and I didn't have any good B-roll, so the interview ended up being a lot of talking heads (can spell bad news for docs).
It was edited in a rush, but it turned out okay, I guess.
ANYWAY. I'm just excited I finally accomplished something.
Public Access is nothing to brag about, but at least it's something. Lol.
If only I tried harder I could be so many more places today.
That healthcare documentary was my first time being a producer/director, and I was a one-man crew of myself.
I do not have the documentary on SheezyArt, because I figured it'd be a waste of bandwidth, and nobody would really be interested. Should I upload it now? It really isn't that great. But it's... Slightly educational?
