Listen up, people.
I have hundreds of stories that I started since 2005, no kidding, and I want to finish them all.
But I can't.
So I narrowed them down to the main plots that I actually showed a little interest in, a little more planning than normal.
But there's still too many.

And this is where you come in.
I'll show you 3 groups of stories (over three journals or so), and from each group I'll take a poll/vote thing. The story with the most votes in each group, I'll continue.
You get the idea?
Alright.
Here's the first group.

I See in Gold (Last Revised: December 2005)
The three major nations on the planet of Levialn are drastically different--the fair-weathered nation of Soliae, the prosperous and tropical Amaedra, and the once beautiful but now wasted island nation of Warid-dyn--but a series of catastrophic political murders bring them closer than they ever thought possible. And in the middle of it all are three children whose actions create three young adults who are not quite children anymore: the untrusting arsonist, Saynn; the pragmatic princess, Anekae; and Ranilane, who is as unsure of her past as she is of her future. Somehow they must stop a race of olive-skinned people called the Altarians from opening a Pandora’s Box and changing their world as they know it.
-----This story was one of my first serious stories, and probably the one that underwent the most changes. Though all of the characters and their relationships to each other are strong in my mind, the plot has always been a little iffy and the details have never been fully sorted out.

Silhouette (Last Revised: June 2006)
In a land where the more you look like royalty and the “cleanliness” of your lineage counts for everything, lies are the only things available to trust.
Raina, Secondborn Princess of Lahran, is all but oblivious to what goes on outside the castle--she has her own problems to deal with. Like her rather stupid twin Visale, who was named Firstborn Heiress instead of Raina, because she was a few minutes older. Or her mother, Queen Etia, who controls the country with an iron fist and will do anything to keep her title…even if it means having a weaker ruler like Visale as her puppet, and “dispose” of Raina as soon as possible because of her true Primere genes.
Tension between the Commoners and the higher class of the Primere grows stronger with each passing day, but the Primere seem not to care--especially when the topic falls on to that of a boy named Taiken, and his band of Raiders. They’ve been the cause of house torchings, store thievery, murder, and any other kind of mischief imaginable, and yet the Primere do nothing to stop them. But why?
All of this changes when Raina sees Taiken on one of his raids late at night from her balcony and swears revenge on Etia for the humiliation she had caused her daughter…
-----This story actually has two plotlines, but I only chose one to put the summary as because it’s the one that’s more developed. As usual, the characters are strong but so are the details--I just lack the interest I need to finish it.

The Treason of War (Last Revised: August 2006)
People around the world never quite understood what brought about the first bomb. Or the next one, for that matter. And the thousands of bombs after them. All they knew was that it happened, and maybe--just maybe--it was time to pick up the pieces again.
So this was how the world of Terra was formed, from the ashes of the once prosperous Earth. A new militant system of government was established by a group of elite soldiers called The Phoenix Grail Corps, whose one job was to make sure something like those years that rained bombs every day never happens again. But when their Corps Commander, Fallon Stone, was assasinated by Rebels who did not agree with the new military government, the once proud and organized Phoenix Grail Corps fell into disarray. Attacks from Rebels became more and more frequent, and then expected. And no one did anything about it.
Until Aleta Claire stepped up to the job.
Though not even thirty, the young woman (Fallon Stone’s niece) was able to rally the Corps together and rebuild what her uncle had started years before. But with her new power came the responsibility to figure out which of her friends are really who they say they are. And frankly, not all of them are.
-----The plot is perfectly planned out for this story, down to the last gunshot in the middle of an unimportant chapter. What lacks here, though, is the security of fully knowing the characters as well as the spark of interest I need to continue it.

sillhouette would be good, but it seems like it's been done before. i would like to see you finish the treason of war.

pur plec loud Says:

But I like them allllllllll.

Keep them allllllll. I do! I have 9 novels floating around in my head right now!
Just take out one at a time. Let the others lie dormant.

In which case, I'll have to agree with Koshizzle and tell you to finish The Treason of War. I personally like I See in Gold the best (as far as my taste in books goes), but The Treason of War sounds a lot stronger/more original. So go with that one .

Satchan Says:

I choose I See In Gold because you said you lacked some interest in the other two. It usually works better to continue the stories you really have an interest in first, and then return to the others later if you want. ^-^

EtherealMog Says:

I like both The Treason of War and I See in Gold.
The Treason of War because the story is rather good, rather strong, but the characters haven't been as fully defined as the others- now you may think well that's a bad thing. I disagree, I think the ability to grow the characters in relation to the story and create something new on something old is great and just the spark you need to get them complete.
Then again I am rather fond of I See in Gold as that is a rather RPGish story in my opinion and that interests me, that and as Satchan said, you had interest in that one initially and therefore it would probably be good to pursue a story that interests you.
So yeah, my vote is for I See in Gold!
Hope this helps

HolyCheesecakes Says:

I See in Gold sounds like a rather interesting plot. the others seem worked a bit

moodylynn Says:
