Confused

[This is not to be connected with the Cast what-so-ever, I was just annoyed personally about what was going on. Nor am I targeting anyone in particular, I've seen these things a lot and today just seemed to be the day I wanted to say something]

How can people not see the red font notice when they are submitting things? I mean, I was browsing through the Desktop Wallpapers (cause I just like going through that section) and I see a ton of these screenshots of people's computers. For those that haven't submitted a wallpaper, when you choose a category it says in big red font:

Please do NOT post desktop screenshots in this category, they belong in the 'Screen Capture' category.

Apparently some just don't bother reading...Its really confusing when people post drawn sketches as a wallpaper. How is that a desktop wallpaper? I mean, most of these scans are like 2500px in size and categorized as 800x600 >< It just boggles the mind that no one bothers to read.

Then there's the ever popular preview images, those just annoy me cause people don't feel the need to say who the artist was. I mean, if someone was using my art as a preview, I'd kinda want my name up there, not "Found this online NOT MINE". Its just right to want to give credit where credit is due, right? And if you don't feel like going through for something you know the name of (which I can understand if its been on your computer for awhile or the site didn't give a name), just make a simple image that says the title. I mean, my preview images for my writing take 3 minutes to get together, its not that difficult.

I know people whining about things gets old and is annoying but it just seems like common sense to read where you are posting things. Especially if you are new. That just seems like such a weak excuse cause, at least when I'm new, I try to understand how things work in a site before posting things. At least read the rules anyway.
