The sound of mine own screams echoing through cyberspace...

So, I found out that come November, my darling husband has a formal event that he is required to attend, and I wanted to get a head start on finding a dress. One would think that this would be easy, but NOPE. I'm 5'1", which puts me in the category of 'petite', and I'm slender (or skinny, take your pick), at a size 0p or 00p, making finding a Damn dress freaking frustrating. I've spent the past several hours online perusing the 'top' sites looking for dresses that are within my limited budget. The only one I found I would even consider wearing (Because I REFUSE to wear jersey to a formal event), was a $5,000 silk Versace dress. It was the only one that I liked the cut, came in my size, and might have even looked good on me. I don't have five grand to spend on a dress, so it's back to searching I go. If anyone has a suggestion, I'd appreciate it. *Pulls out hair*
