Now. I know this may seem normal to people of the US. But then again. The UK -isn't- the US. We rarely get broken records since the beginning of recording weather

Now. I want to more draw your attention to -this-
quote: Hundreds have left villages near Rotherham, South Yorkshire, amid fears the nearby Ulley dam could collapse.

As I was coming home from my grandma's with mum in the car. The people on site trying to save this dam, have seemed to have given up, and are looking for ways to make it collapse slowly. As the head guy said "It's no longer a case of "If it will collapse, it's when?". But we're talking millions of gallons of water. We're talking buildings not only being flooded. But a ttdal wave running down the vally picking up momentum as it goes. It'll distroy a lot of what's in it's path. Including, the M1. There's power substations. Hell. There's a whole powerplant, sewage works. Yes. US had hurricanes. But we NEVER expected this.
How about the fact it's cost so much for repairs. Granted. America kinda just threw the money at New Orleans. But then again. Their own government was to blame. The levés were not kept repaired. In the UK. This damn was designed to take freak weather. But not as freak as this. How about the fact even MY town. Not in yorkshire, but east lancashire. Has sent fire crews down to aid them. Or how about this
It's -all- being blamed on global warming
Discuss if you want to. I just wanted to say my piece on the matter
