A long time ago there was the world Octourian, otherwise knwon as the World of Dragons, was divided in war. Each of the races of dragons controlling a special part of each element. Wind, Fire, Water, Earth. But soon the wars disrupted the natural way of their world and it started to break down. So 1 of each of the 12 races managed to escape from that world to go to another. But there was an extra, an outcast, from a race of cats that managed to escape as well. Corrupt and full of malice he blamed the destruction of his word on the other 12 and vowed revenge. So after many years of being dormancy and integrating themseves into the inhabitant races of the planet. The Neko Ryu finally arose again from seemingly nowhere only to kidnap one girl. Igarashi Akako. And so enraging the young girl Himoto Ai, for reasons unknown he has chosen Akako to begin his revenge.

Ai goes on a journey to find the other Ryu to ask for help, though she finds it’s not that easy as the Ryu have their own problems among themselves. And every time one does show itself the neko Ryu appears and reeks havoc. And some of the Ryu themselves aren’t so nice to begin with. As Ai tries to save her friend she is accompanied by the three people who saved her life, Kiyomizu Tetsuya, Atsusa Bakhu and Kurozawa Shira, a mysterious woman with a bad temper as well as a bad smoking habit. It seems there’s more to her companions than meet the eye. But trying to find out what the neko Ryu is up to, and figuring out why he’s taken Akako captive is a lot trickier than it sounds.
