Your children in their sleep. Where you cannot protect them.

w/e I had a freakish dream about squrriels. I was traveling on a nobel journey to .... yeah, that one draws a blank. But then one of my friends knocks on the trunk of a tree, and then we all get ambushed by tons of the little rodents. I reawoken lying on a couch, with a bowl of assorted nuts on my chest. I picked them up and started nibbling at them, (Apparently I get hungry at night, which transfers into my dreams.)
It was an entire city of squirrels. I walked around the main tunnel, and asked questions here and there, and about some of the nuts I was eating. One was called dobbleberry nut. o.O
Eventually I walked into a room, something made for a large audience, human and squirrel alike, all set up like a very fancy cabin. In the center was a large circle, and it came to me as a stage. But not for me, but for the squirrels. The very center had a pedestal, and around that pedestal you can pull out these really cool moving platforms that hovered over the empty space. Really hard to describe, but moving on. I found a human living with the squirrels, funny little man. In his freetime he drowns cats, and when he has the money, he buys stuff like the theater stage.

I waved goodbye and they put me back into the surface world where I became a general of some really stupid knights in a very pitiful fight against the invading vikings. When the vikings came, they came riding horses, but in their ranks, sheep. Armored sheep. And very fancy decorated sheep. This... Was mocking us. So, I took a nice long sharp sword and slashed at some of the sheep as they ran by, and then all of their coats fell off. tee hee, I told one viking to go chase after a piece of floating away wool, "Better go catch that sheep's butt. You can probably have enough there to make a sock!"

Then I woke up.
